Who we are

SOLiTHOR is a high-tech company which is utilising 10 years of research by imec - the prestigious Belgian R&D institute in nanoelectronics and digital technologies. 

Building on this unique and patented research, SOLiTHOR is developing and aiming to commercialise the next all-solid-state lithium batteries for the electromobility sector. Our mission is to scale up our all-solid-state battery technology and apply it to electric vehicles – in the air, on land and sea.

To strengthen our growing team of engineers and technologists, we are looking for a motivated and talented Business Developer/Project Manager. 

Main responsibilities 

• Develop and execute a strategy to open part of the corporate infrastructure to third parties in the scope of a EU-subsidized project, including identifying target customers, segments, and regions
• Translate the market demand into relevant service solutions which we can offer
• Define requirements for the services including technical specification, compliance with certifications, and deliverables per service
• Work cross-functionally to understand how the infrastructure can be physically and digitally compartmentalized for access
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and closing deals to meet and exceed targets
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements for accessing SOLiTHOR’s infrastructure
• Establish and enhance the company's brand awareness and reputation
• Set up and build consortium of partners, define project scope and goals
• Write project proposals (bilateral or multiparty) in coordination with the R&D team

Skills, personality and experience

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual with a hands-on approach to work - a creative problem solver who is motivated and passionate about the profession, and who thrives in a high-tech and multicultural environment. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment
• Proven experience in building relationships and project management
• Strong technical acumen with proven experience in the battery field or related fields
• Fluent in English
